Clifford “Tip” Rahm founded Bottom Liner in 1987. Tip was a retired aerospace engineer who owned a sailboat and grew tired of relying on divers to clean his hull. He designed and built the first Bottom Liner in his driveway. Word of the product quickly spread and he soon needed a warehouse to fill his orders.
As the business grew, Tip brought his daughter in to help run the company. After Tip’s death, Robin continued to grow and improve the Bottom Liner. In 2006, Robin decided to pursue her own talents and began looking for someone whom she could trust to carry on her father’s legacy.
Matt Hill, also an aerospace engineer, discovered the Bottom Liner and thought that it was a great product with great potential. He talked with Robin and knew that this company was something he could sink his energy into. He promptly bought the company and began working on rebuilding customer service.
Matt is an honest, hardworking, innovative individual who is dedicated to providing a quality product with emphasis on great customer service. He is already working on product improvements. After only a few months of owning the company, he is proud to be up to date on all service requests. He continues to provide prompt service to those who need it.
Bottom Liner has been protecting boats for over 20 years. They are committed to providing a top of the line product with top of the line customer service to back it. |
